ASoC: SOF: ipc: replace "enum sof_comp_type" field with "uint32_t"

Normally, the type of enums is "unsigned int" or "int". GCC has
the "-fshort-enums" option, which instructs the compiler to
use the smallest data type that can hold all the values in
the enum (i.e: char, short, int or their unsigned variants).

According to the GCC documentation, "-fshort-enums" may be
default on some targets. This seems to be the case for SOF
when built for a certain 32-bit ARM platform.

On Linux, this is not the case (tested with "aarch64-linux-gnu-gcc")
which means enums such as "enum sof_comp_type" will end up having
different sizes on Linux and SOF. Since "enum sof_comp_type" is used in
IPC-related structures such as "struct sof_ipc_comp", this means
the fields of the structures will end up being placed at different
offsets. This, in turn, leads to SOF not being able to properly
interpret data passed from Linux.

With this in mind, replace "enum sof_comp_type" from
"struct sof_ipc_comp" with "uint32_t".

ASoC: SOF: Deprecate invalid enums in IPC3

The switch component was never completed and sat half empty for over 3
years. It was recently deleted. For modern components this would
require not change in the kernel but since this was a legacy allocation
from the enum days of IPC3 we should mark the respective enum as
deprecated.

The splitter component was never even got a source file in the firmware.
Therefore also delete it since this is not needed.

ASoC: SOF: Replace zero-length array with flexible-array member

There is a regular need in the kernel to provide a way to declare having
a dynamically sized set of trailing elements in a structure. Kernel code
should always use "flexible array members"[1] for these cases. The older
style of one-element or zero-length arrays should no longer be used[2].

This helps with the ongoing efforts to globally enable -Warray-bounds
and get us closer to being able to tighten the FORTIFY_SOURCE routines
on memcpy().

ASoC: SOF: Add XRUN flags field to struct sof_ipc_buffer.

Currently if a component source buffer underruns or a component sink
buffer overruns the pipeline will enter an XRUN status and attempt
recovery. This is desired in most pipelines but some topologies need to
support use cases where we expect buffers to underrun or overrun.

Host ---> Proc----> Selector0 --> Buf0 ---- > DAI Playback
|
v
Buf1
|
v
Host <---------------Selector1 <----- Buf2 <----- Echo Ref DAI

In the example above we two host PCMs that can be independently
started/stopped thereby causing buf1 to either underrun or overrun
(and stop the pipelines). Buf1 should be permitted to underrun or overrun
without invoking pipeline XRUN logic and should over write oldest data
(for overrun) and readback 0s (for underrun).

2 flags have been added for use during buffer instantiation:
SOF_BUF_OVERRUN_PERMITTED and SOF_BUF_UNDERRUN_PERMITTED,
along with struct sof_ipc_buffer member fields: flags and reserved.
Flags field is supposed to hold the above-mentioned flags to allow
some control over XRUN behaviour.
Also added reserved field to the structure in case it comes in handy
some time in the future.

This is an incremental ABI change as the new fields are ignored by older
versions of the firmware.

treewide: remove SPDX "WITH Linux-syscall-note" from kernel-space headers again

The "WITH Linux-syscall-note" exception exists for headers exported to
user space. It is strange to add it to non-exported headers.

Commit 687a3e4d8e61 ("treewide: remove SPDX "WITH Linux-syscall-note"
from kernel-space headers") did cleanups some months ago, but it looks
like we need to do this periodically.

This patch was generated by the following script:

git grep -l -e Linux-syscall-note \
-- :*.h :^arch/*/include/uapi/asm/*.h :^include/uapi/ :^tools |
while read file
do
sed -i -e 's/(\(GPL-[^[:space:]]*\) WITH Linux-syscall-note)/\1/g' \
-e 's/ WITH Linux-syscall-note//g' $file
done

I did not commit drivers/staging/android/uapi/ion.h . This header is
not currently exported, but somebody may plan to move it to include/uapi/
when the time comes. I am not sure. Anyway, it will be better to check
the license inconsistency in drivers/staging/android/uapi/.
