drm/amd/display: Fix ACPI edid parsing on some Lenovo systems
[Why] The ACPI EDID in the BIOS of a Lenovo laptop includes 3 blocks, but dm_helpers_probe_acpi_edid() has a start that is 'char'. The 3rd block index starts after 255, so it can't be indexed properly. This leads to problems with the display when the EDID is parsed.
[How] Change the variable type to 'short' so that larger values can be indexed.

drm/amd/display: Add HBlank reduction DPCD write to DPMS sequence
[Why] Certain small HBlank timings may not have a large enough HBlank to support audio when low bpp DSC is enabled. HBlank expansion by the source can solve this problem, but requires the branch/sink to support HBlank reduction.
[How] Update DPMS sequence to call DM to perform DPCD write to enable HBlank reduction on the branch/sink. Add stub in dm_helpers to be implemented later.

drm/amd/display: temp w/a for DP Link Layer compliance
[Why&How] Disabling P-State support on full updates for DCN401 results in introducing additional communication with SMU. A UCLK hard min message to SMU takes 4 seconds to go through, which was due to DCN not allowing pstate switch, which was caused by incorrect value for TTU watermark before blanking the HUBP prior to DPG on for servicing the test request.
Fix the issue temporarily by disallowing pstate changes for compliance test while test request handler is reworked for a proper fix.

This is caused by lost memory during early init phase. First time driver is removed, memory is freed but when second time the driver is inserted, VBIOS dmub is not active, since the PSP policy is to retain the driver loaded version on subsequent warm boots. Hence, communication with VBIOS DMUB fails.
Fix this by aborting further communication with vbios dmub and release the memory immediately.

drm/mst: Fix NULL pointer dereference at drm_dp_add_payload_part2
[Why] Commit: - commit 5aa1dfcdf0a4 ("drm/mst: Refactor the flow for payload allocation/removement") accidently overwrite the commit - commit 54d217406afe ("drm: use mgr->dev in drm_dbg_kms in drm_dp_add_payload_part2") which cause regression.
[How] Recover the original NULL fix and remove the unnecessary input parameter 'state' for drm_dp_add_payload_part2().

drm/amd/display: Add MSF panel to DPCD 0x317 patch list
This 8.4 inch panel is integrated in the Ayaneo Kun handheld device. The panel resolution is 2560×1600, i.e. it has portrait dimensions.
Decoding the EDID shows: Manufacturer: MSF Model: 4099 Display Product Name: 'TV080WUM-NL0 '
Judging from the product name this might be a clone of a BOE panel, but with larger dimensions.
Panel frequently shows non-functional backlight control. Adding some debug prints to update_connector_ext_caps() shows that something the OLED bit of ext_caps is set, and then the driver assumes that backlight is controlled via AUX.
Forcing backlight control to PWM via amdgpu.backlight=0 restores backlight operation.
