*360b0dedSCy SchubertThis is the SQLite extension for Tcl using the Tcl Extension
*360b0dedSCy SchubertArchitecture (TEA). For additional information on SQLite see

*360b0dedSCy Schubert==========
*360b0dedSCy Schubert
*360b0dedSCy SchubertBuilding under most UNIX systems is easy, just run the configure script
*360b0dedSCy Schubertand then run make. For more information about the build process, see
*360b0dedSCy Schubertthe tcl/unix/README file in the Tcl src dist. The following minimal
*360b0dedSCy Schubertexample will install the extension in the /opt/tcl directory.
*360b0dedSCy Schubert
*360b0dedSCy Schubert	$ cd sqlite-*-tea
*360b0dedSCy Schubert	$ ./configure --prefix=/opt/tcl
*360b0dedSCy Schubert	$ make
*360b0dedSCy Schubert	$ make install

*360b0dedSCy Schubert=============
*360b0dedSCy Schubert
*360b0dedSCy SchubertThe recommended method to build extensions under windows is to use the
*360b0dedSCy SchubertMsys + Mingw build process. This provides a Unix-style build while
*360b0dedSCy Schubertgenerating native Windows binaries. Using the Msys + Mingw build tools
*360b0dedSCy Schubertmeans that you can use the same configure script as per the Unix build
*360b0dedSCy Schubertto create a Makefile. See the tcl/win/README file for the URL of
*360b0dedSCy Schubertthe Msys + Mingw download.
*360b0dedSCy Schubert
*360b0dedSCy SchubertIf you have VC++ then you may wish to use the files in the win
*360b0dedSCy Schubertsubdirectory and build the extension using just VC++. These files have
*360b0dedSCy Schubertbeen designed to be as generic as possible but will require some
*360b0dedSCy Schubertadditional maintenance by the project developer to synchronise with
*360b0dedSCy Schubertthe TEA configure.in and Makefile.in files. Instructions for using the
*360b0dedSCy SchubertVC++ makefile are written in the first part of the Makefile.vc
*360b0dedSCy Schubertfile.
