        <title>00b34fd9 - Use unlink instead of `rm -f` in start-memcached script</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/memcached-1.4.29/scripts/start-memcached#00b34fd9</link>
<description>Use unlink instead of `rm -f` in start-memcached scriptThis is necessary for an Upstart job, because the call out to rm -f causes Perl to fork off a process, and Upstart think that new process is the main one (not the exec&apos;d memcached process later on).

        <title>e04ca9b7 - Properly daemonize memcached for debian</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/memcached-1.4.29/scripts/start-memcached#e04ca9b7</link>
<description>Properly daemonize memcached for debianThe debianish start script routes the STDERR/STDOUT to make &quot;logfiles&quot;, but indoing so doesn&apos;t break free of the launching session. Patch fixes that.

        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/memcached-1.4.29/scripts/start-memcached#1e52a254</link>
<description>Allow memcached-init to start multiple instancesPatch by Gordon Franke. Whitespace fixes and comments added by Dormando. There are many better ways to do this, but it doesn&apos;t break the default andthe &quot;status&quot; command never existed. Servers can be started and stoppedindividually, and people seem to like the idea.

        <title>6fb61ada - Hey there Brad,</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/memcached-1.4.29/scripts/start-memcached#6fb61ada</link>
<description>Hey there Brad, I&apos;m just kicking an update of the newest memcached into the Debianarchive. You&apos;ve added a few flags, so the manpage / default conf filegot updated. Also, start-memcached got a couple of fixes. If you&apos;d like to look them over and possibly commit them to your tree, that&apos;d be great. Attached is the pretty simple diff. --jaygit-svn-id: http://code.sixapart.com/svn/memcached/trunk@201 b0b603af-a30f-0410-a34e-baf09ae79d0b

        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/memcached-1.4.29/scripts/start-memcached#4b1b1ae7</link>
<description>version 1.1.10:2003-12-30 (Brad) * remove static build stuff. interferes with PAM setuid stuff and was only included as a possible fix with the old memory allocator. really shouldn&apos;t make a difference. * release version 1.1.10git-svn-id: http://code.sixapart.com/svn/memcached/trunk@176 b0b603af-a30f-0410-a34e-baf09ae79d0b
