Convert all tests using TCL-style quoting to use shell-style quoting. This was done through the aid of a terrible Perl creation. I will notpaste any of the horrors here. Suffice to say, it require multiplestaged rounds of replacements, state carried between, and a fewnested-construct-parsing hacks that I'm not proud of. It happens, byluck, to be able to deal with all the TCL-quoting patterns in evidencein the LLVM test suite. If anyone is maintaining large out-of-tree test trees, feel free to pokeme and I'll send you the steps I used to convert things, as well asanswer any painful questions etc. IRC works best for this type of thingI find.Once converted, switch the LLVM lit config to use ShTests the same asClang. In addition to being able to delete large amounts of Python codefrom 'lit', this will also simplify the entire test suite and some oflit's architecture. Finally, the test suite runs 33% faster on Linux now. ;]For my 16-hardware-thread (2x 4-core xeon e5520): 36s -> 24sllvm-svn: 159525

Previously, RecursivelyDeleteDeadInstructions provided an optionof returning a list of pointers to Values that are deleted. This wasunsafe, because the pointers in the list are, by nature of whatRecursivelyDeleteDeadInstructions does, always dangling. Replace thiswith a simple callback mechanism. This may eventually be removed ifall clients can reasonably be expected to use CallbackVH.Use this to factor out the dead-phi-cycle-elimination code from LSRutility function, and generalize it to use theRecursivelyDeleteTriviallyDeadInstructions utility function. This makes LSR more aggressive about eliminating dead PHI cycles;adjust tests to either be less trivial or to simply expect fewerinstructions.llvm-svn: 70636

Fix a bug in LSR's dead-PHI cleanup. If a PHI has a def-use chain thatleads into a cycle involving a different PHI, LSR got stuck runningaround that cycle looking for the original PHI. To avoid this, keeptrack of visited PHIs and stop searching if we see one more than once. This fixes PR2570.llvm-svn: 53879
