<description>[lldb][NFC] Fix all formatting errors in .cpp file headersSummary:A *.cpp file header in LLDB (and in LLDB) should like this:```//===-- TestUtilities.cpp -------------------------------------------------===//```However in LLDB most of our source files have arbitrary changes to this format andthese changes are spreading through LLDB as folks usually just use the existingsource files as templates for their new files (most notably the unnecessaryeditor language indicator `-*- C++ -*-` is spreading and in every reviewsomeone is pointing out that this is wrong, resulting in people pointing out that thisis done in the same way in other files). This patch removes most of these inconsistencies including the editor language indicators, all the different missing/additional &apos;-&apos; characters, files that center the file name, missingtrailing `===//` (mostly caused by clang-format breaking the line).Reviewers: aprantl, espindola, jfb, shafik, JDevlieghereReviewed By: JDevlieghereSubscribers: dexonsmith, wuzish, emaste, sdardis, nemanjai, kbarton, MaskRay, atanasyan, arphaman, jfb, abidh, jsji, JDevlieghere, usaxena95, lldb-commitsTags: #lldbDifferential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D73258

<title>2946cd70 - Update the file headers across all of the LLVM projects in the monorepo</title>

<description>Update the file headers across all of the LLVM projects in the monorepoto reflect the new license. We understand that people may be surprised that we&apos;re moving the headerentirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with theFoundation&apos;s lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach.Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVMproject under our new license, so you will see that the license headersinclude that license only. Some of our contributors have contributedcode under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy ofour old license notice in the top-level files in each project andrepository.llvm-svn: 351636

<title>b9c1b51e - *** This commit represents a complete reformatting of the LLDB source code</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/llvm-project-15.0.7/lldb/source/Host/android/LibcGlue.cpp#b9c1b51e</link>
<description>*** This commit represents a complete reformatting of the LLDB source code*** to conform to clang-format&#8217;s LLVM style. This kind of mass change has*** two obvious implications:Firstly, merging this particular commit into a downstream fork may be a hugeeffort. Alternatively, it may be worth merging all changes up to this commit, performing the same reformatting operation locally, and then discarding themerge for this particular commit. The commands used to accomplish thisreformatting were as follows (with current working directory as the root ofthe repository): find . \( -iname &quot;*.c&quot; -or -iname &quot;*.cpp&quot; -or -iname &quot;*.h&quot; -or -iname &quot;*.mm&quot; \) -exec clang-format -i {} + find . -iname &quot;*.py&quot; -exec autopep8 --in-place --aggressive --aggressive {} + ;The version of clang-format used was 3.9.0, and autopep8 was 1.2.4.Secondly, &#8220;blame&#8221; style tools will generally point to this commit instead ofa meaningful prior commit. There are alternatives available that will attemptto look through this change and find the appropriate prior commit. YMMV.llvm-svn: 280751

<description>[linux] Use cmake to detect support process_vm_readv (bug #23918)Summary:Some old linux versions do not have process_vm_readv function defined. Even older versions do nothave even the __NR_process_vm_readv syscall number. We use cmake to detect these situations andfallback appropriately: in the first case, we can issue the syscall manually, while it the lattercase, we need to drop fast memory read support completely.Test Plan: linux test suite passesReviewers: ovyalov, Eugene.ZelenkoSubscribers: tberghammer, lldb-commitsDifferential Revision: http://reviews.llvm.org/D10727llvm-svn: 240927

<description>[NativeProcessLinux] Use fast memory reads, if the system supports itSummary:Memory reads using the ptrace API need to be executed on a designated threadand in 4-byte increments. The process_vm_read syscall has no such requirementsand it is about 50 times faster. This patch makes lldb-server use the fasterAPI if the target kernel supports it. Kernel support for this feature isdetermined at runtime. Using process_vm_writev in the same manner is morecomplicated since this syscall (unlike ptrace) respects page protection settingsand so it cannot be used to set a breakpoint, since code pages are typicallyread-only. However, memory writes are not currently a performance bottleneck asthey happen much more rarely.Test Plan: all tests continue to passReviewers: ovyalov, vharronSubscribers: tberghammer, lldb-commitsDifferential Revision: http://reviews.llvm.org/D10488llvm-svn: 239924
