<title>9a9fc787 - COFF: Layout sections in the same order as link.exe</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/llvm-project-15.0.7/lld/test/COFF/common-alignment.test#9a9fc787</link>
<description>COFF: Layout sections in the same order as link.exeOne place where this seems to matter is to make sure the .rsrc section comesafter .text. The Win32 UpdateResource() function can change the contents of.rsrc. It will move the sections that come after, but if .text gets moved, theentry point header will not get updated and the executable breaks. This wasfound by a test in Chromium.Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D45260llvm-svn: 329221

<title>d2752aa9 - [COFF] Add support for aligncomm directives</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/llvm-project-15.0.7/lld/test/COFF/common-alignment.test#d2752aa9</link>
<description>[COFF] Add support for aligncomm directivesThese are emitted for comm symbols in object files, when targetinga GNU environment.Alternatively, just ignore them since we already align CommonChunkto the natural size of the content (up to 32 bytes). That would onlytrade away the possibility to overalign small symbols, which doesn&apos;tsound like something that might not need to be handled?Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D36304llvm-svn: 310871
