        <title>cc3c6b61 - [flang][driver] Make `flang-new -fc1` accept MLIR files</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/llvm-project-15.0.7/flang/test/Fir/alloc.fir#cc3c6b61</link>
<description>[flang][driver] Make `flang-new -fc1` accept MLIR filesThis relatively small change will allow Flang&apos;s frontend driver,`flang-new -fc1`, to consume and parse MLIR files. Semantically (i.e.from user&apos;s perspective) this is identical to reading LLVM IR files. Two file extensions are associated with MLIR files: .fir and .mlir. Notethat reading MLIR files makes only sense when running one of thecode-generation actions, i.e. when using one of the following actionflags: -S, -emit-obj, -emit-llvm, -emit-llvm-bc.The majority of tests that required `tco` to run are updated to also runwith `flang-new -fc1`. A few tests are updated to use `fir-opt` insteadof `tco` (that&apos;s the preferred choice when testing a particular MLIRpass). basic-program.fir is not updated as that test is intended toverify the behaviour of `tco` specifically.Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D126890

        <title>a8308020 - [mlir] Remove special case parsing/printing of `func` operations</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/llvm-project-15.0.7/flang/test/Fir/alloc.fir#a8308020</link>
<description>[mlir] Remove special case parsing/printing of `func` operationsThis was leftover from when the standard dialect was destroyed, andwhen FuncOp moved to the func dialect. Now that these transitionshave settled a bit we can drop these. Most updates were handled using a simple regex: replace `^( *)func` with `$1func.func`Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D124146

        <title>ac0f4c8f - [flang] Fix AllocaOp/AllocMemOp type conversion</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/llvm-project-15.0.7/flang/test/Fir/alloc.fir#ac0f4c8f</link>
<description>[flang] Fix AllocaOp/AllocMemOp type conversionFor arrays without a constant interior or arrays of character withdynamic length arrays, the data types are converted to a pointer to theelement type, so the scale size of the constant extents needs to becounted. The previous AllocaOp conversion does not consider the arraysof character with dynamic length arrays, and the previous AllocMemOpconversion does not consider arrays without a constant interior. Thisfixes them and refactors the code so that it can be shared. Also addthe test cases.Reviewed By: Jean PerierDifferential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D124766
