<description>[memprof] Make the raw binary format the default.Set the default memprof serialization format as binary. 9 tests areupdated to use print_text=true. Also fixed an issue with concatenationof default and test specified options (missing separator).Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D113617

<title>0949f96d - [MemProf] Pass down memory profile name with optional path from clang</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/llvm-project-15.0.7/compiler-rt/test/memprof/TestCases/malloc-size-too-big.cpp#0949f96d</link>
<description>[MemProf] Pass down memory profile name with optional path from clangSimilar to -fprofile-generate=, add -fmemory-profile= which takes adirectory path. This is passed down to LLVM via a new module flagmetadata. LLVM in turn provides this name to the runtime via the new__memprof_profile_filename variable.Additionally, always pass a default filename (in $cwd if a directoryname is not specified vi the = form of the option). This is alsoconsistent with the behavior of the PGO instrumentation. Since thememory profiles will generally be fairly large, it doesn&apos;t make sense todump them to stderr. Also, importantly, the memory profiles willeventually be dumped in a compact binary format, which is another reasonwhy it does not make sense to send these to stderr by default.Change the existing memprof tests to specify log_path=stderr when thatwas being relied on.Depends on D89086.Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D89087

        <title>3d4bba30 - [MemProf] Memory profiling runtime support</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/llvm-project-15.0.7/compiler-rt/test/memprof/TestCases/malloc-size-too-big.cpp#3d4bba30</link>
<description>[MemProf] Memory profiling runtime supportSee RFC for background:http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2020-June/142744.htmlFollow on companion to the clang/llvm instrumentation support in D85948and committed earlier. This patch adds the compiler-rt runtime support for the memoryprofiling.Note that much of this support was cloned from asan (and then greatlysimplified and renamed). For example the interactions with thesanitizer_common allocators, error handling, interception, etc.The bulk of the memory profiling specific code can be found in theMemInfoBlock, MemInfoBlockCache, and related classes defined and usedin memprof_allocator.cpp.For now, the memory profile is dumped to text (stderr by default, buthonors the sanitizer_common log_path flag). It is dumped in either adefault verbose format, or an optional terse format. This patch also adds a set of tests for the core functionality.Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D87120
