<description>[c++1z] Improve support for -fno-exceptions: we can&apos;t just ignore exceptionspecifications in this mode in C++17, since they&apos;re part of the function type,so check and diagnose them like we would if exceptions were enabled.Better ideas welcome.llvm-svn: 288220

<title>f40863ca - Work around an annoying, non-standard optimization in the glibc</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/llvm-project-15.0.7/clang/test/SemaCXX/builtin-exception-spec.cpp#f40863ca</link>
<description>Work around an annoying, non-standard optimization in the glibcheaders, where malloc (and many other libc functions) are declaredwith empty throw specifications, e.g., extern void *malloc (__SIZE_TYPE__ __size) throw () __attribute__ ((__malloc__)) ;The C++ standard doesn&apos;t seem to allow this, and redeclaring malloc asthe standard permits (as follows) resulted in Clang (rightfully!)complaining about mis-matched exception specifications. void *malloc(size_t size); We work around this by silently propagating an empty throwspecification &quot;throw()&quot; from a function with C linkage declared in asystem header to a redeclaration that has no throw specifier.Ick.llvm-svn: 95969
