        <title>a91de375 - Promote a warning on ill-formed code (redeclaration missing an exception</title>

<description>Promote a warning on ill-formed code (redeclaration missing an exceptionspecification) to an error. No compiler other than Clang seems to allow this, and it doesn&apos;t seem like a useful thing to accept as an extension in general. The current behavior was added for PR5957, where the problem was specificallyrelated to mismatches of the exception specification on the implicitly-declaredglobal operator new and delete. To retain that workaround, we downgrade theerror to an ExtWarn when the declaration is of a replaceable global allocationfunction. Now that this is an error, stop trying (and failing) to recover from a missingcomputed noexcept specification. That recovery didn&apos;t work, and led to crashesin code like the added testcase.llvm-svn: 248867

<description>Preserve exception specs in function decl merging.Exception specs are not part of the canonical type, but we shouldn&apos;tdrop them just because we merged a noreturn attribute.Fixes PR17110.llvm-svn: 190206

<title>66f3ac9d - Rework implementation of DR1492: Apply the resolution to operator delete too,</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/llvm-project-15.0.7/clang/test/CXX/except/except.spec/p4.cpp#66f3ac9d</link>
<description>Rework implementation of DR1492: Apply the resolution to operator delete too, since it also has an implicit exception specification. Downgrade the error toan extwarn, since at least for operator delete, system headers like to declareit as &apos;noexcept&apos; whereas the implicit definition does not have an explicitexception specification. Move the exception specification for user-declared&apos;operator delete&apos; functions from the type-as-written into the type, to reflectreality and to allow us to detect whether there was an implicit exception specor not.llvm-svn: 166372
