selftests: mptcp: lib: skip if missing symbolSelftests are supposed to run on any kernels, including the old ones notsupporting all MPTCP features.New functions are now available to easily detect if a certain feature ismissing by looking at kallsyms. These new helpers are going to be used in the following commits. Inorder to ease the backport of such future patches, it would be good ifthis patch is backported up to the introduction of MPTCP selftests, hence the Fixes tag below: this type of check was supposed to be donefrom the beginning.Link: https://github.com/multipath-tcp/mptcp_net-next/issues/368Fixes: 048d19d444be ("mptcp: add basic kselftest for mptcp")Cc: stable@vger.kernel.orgSigned-off-by: Matthieu Baerts <matthieu.baerts@tessares.net>Signed-off-by: Jakub Kicinski <kuba@kernel.org>

selftests: mptcp: add infinite map testcaseAdd the single subflow test case for MP_FAIL, to test the infinitemapping case. Use the test_linkfail value to make 128KB test files.Add a new function reset_with_fail(), in it use 'iptables' and 'tcaction pedit' rules to produce the bit flips to trigger the checksumfailures. Set validate_checksum to enable checksums for the MP_FAILtests without passing the '-C' argument. Set check_invert flag toenable the invert bytes check for the output data in check_transfer().Instead of the file mismatch error, this test prints out the invertedbytes.Add a new function pedit_action_pkts() to get the numbers of the packetsedited by the tc pedit actions. Print this numbers to the output. Also add the needed kernel configures in the selftests config file.Suggested-by: Davide Caratti <dcaratti@redhat.com>Co-developed-by: Matthieu Baerts <matthieu.baerts@tessares.net>Signed-off-by: Matthieu Baerts <matthieu.baerts@tessares.net>Signed-off-by: Geliang Tang <geliang.tang@suse.com>Signed-off-by: Mat Martineau <mathew.j.martineau@linux.intel.com>Signed-off-by: David S.

selftests: mptcp: add ADD_ADDR timeout test caseThis patch added the test case for retransmitting ADD_ADDR when timeoutoccurs. It set NS1's add_addr_timeout to 1 second, and drop NS2's ADD_ADDRecho packets. Here we need to slow down the transfer process of all data to let theADD_ADDR suboptions can be retransmitted three times. So we added a newparameter "speed" for do_transfer, it can be set with fast or slow.We also added three new optional parameters for run_tests, and droppedrun_remove_tests function.Since we added the netfilter rules in this test case, we need to updatethe "config" file.Suggested-by: Matthieu Baerts <matthieu.baerts@tessares.net>Suggested-by: Paolo Abeni <pabeni@redhat.com>Acked-by: Paolo Abeni <pabeni@redhat.com>Reviewed-by: Matthieu Baerts <matthieu.baerts@tessares.net>Signed-off-by: Geliang Tang <geliangtang@gmail.com>Signed-off-by: Mat Martineau <mathew.j.martineau@linux.intel.com>Signed-off-by: Jakub Kicinski <kuba@kernel.org>

selftests: mptcp: depends on built-in IPv6Recently, CONFIG_MPTCP_IPV6 no longer selects CONFIG_IPV6. As aconsequence, if CONFIG_MPTCP_IPV6=y is added to the kconfig, it will nolonger ensure CONFIG_IPV6=y. If it is not enabled, CONFIG_MPTCP_IPV6will stay disabled and selftests will fail.We also need CONFIG_IPV6 to be built-in. For more details, please seecommit 0ed37ac586c0 ("mptcp: depends on IPV6 but not as a module").Note that 'make kselftest-merge' will take all 'config' files found in'tools/testsing/selftests'. Because some of them already setCONFIG_IPV6=y, MPTCP selftests were still passing. But they will fail ifMPTCP selftests are launched manually after having executed this commandto prepare the kernel config: ./scripts/kconfig/merge_config.sh -m .config \ ./tools/testing/selftests/net/mptcp/configFixes: 010b430d5df5 ("mptcp: MPTCP_IPV6 should depend on IPV6 instead of selecting it")Signed-off-by: Matthieu Baerts <matthieu.baerts@tessares.net>Reviewed-by: Mat Martineau <mathew.j.martineau@linux.intel.com>Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20201021155549.933731-1-matthieu.baerts@tessares.netSigned-off-by: Jakub Kicinski <kuba@kernel.org>

mptcp: add basic kselftest for mptcpAdd mptcp_connect tool:xmit two files back and forth between two processes, several netnamespaces including some adding delays, losses and reordering.Wrapper script tests that data was transmitted without corruption. The "-c" command line option for mptcp_connect.sh is there for debugging:The script will use tcpdump to create one .pcap file per test case, namedaccording to the namespaces, protocols, and connect address in use.For example, the first test case writes the capture tons1-ns1-MPTCP-MPTCP-10.0.1.1.pcap.The stderr output from tcpdump is printed after the test completes toshow tcpdump's "packets dropped by kernel" information. Also check that userspace can't create MPTCP sockets when mptcp.enabledsysctl is off.The "-b" option allows to tune/lower send buffer size."-m mmap" can be used to test blocking io. Default is non-blockingio using read/write/poll.Will run automatically on "make kselftest".Note that the default timeout of 45 seconds is used even if there is a"settings" changing it to 450. 45 seconds should be enough in most casesbut this depends on the machine running the tests.A fix to correctly read the "settings" file has been proposed upstreambut not applied yet. It is not blocking the execution of these new testsbut it would be nice to have it: https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/11204935/Co-developed-by: Paolo Abeni <pabeni@redhat.com>Signed-off-by: Paolo Abeni <pabeni@redhat.com>Co-developed-by: Mat Martineau <mathew.j.martineau@linux.intel.com>Signed-off-by: Mat Martineau <mathew.j.martineau@linux.intel.com>Co-developed-by: Matthieu Baerts <matthieu.baerts@tessares.net>Signed-off-by: Matthieu Baerts <matthieu.baerts@tessares.net>Co-developed-by: Davide Caratti <dcaratti@redhat.com>Signed-off-by: Davide Caratti <dcaratti@redhat.com>Signed-off-by: Florian Westphal <fw@strlen.de>Signed-off-by: Christoph Paasch <cpaasch@apple.com>Signed-off-by: David S.
