3a3b7fec - mm: remove CONFIG_MEMCG_KMEM

mm: remove CONFIG_MEMCG_KMEMCONFIG_MEMCG_KMEM used to be a user-visible option for whether slabtracking is enabled. It has been default-enabled and equivalent toCONFIG_MEMCG for almost a decade. We've only grown more kernel memoryaccounting sites since, and there is no imaginable cgroup usecase goingforward that wants to track user pages but not the multitude ofuser-drivable kernel allocations.Link: https://lkml.kernel.org/r/20240701153148.452230-1-hannes@cmpxchg.orgSigned-off-by: Johannes Weiner <hannes@cmpxchg.org>Acked-by: Roman Gushchin <roman.gushchin@linux.dev>Acked-by: Michal Hocko <mhocko@suse.com>Acked-by: Shakeel Butt <shakeel.butt@linux.dev>Acked-by: David Hildenbrand <david@redhat.com>Cc: Muchun Song <muchun.song@linux.dev>Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org>

mm: memcontrol: drop dead CONFIG_MEMCG_SWAP config symbolSince 2d1c498072de ("mm: memcontrol: make swap tracking an integral partof memory control"), CONFIG_MEMCG_SWAP hasn't been a user-visible configoption anymore, it just means CONFIG_MEMCG && CONFIG_SWAP.Update the sites accordingly and drop the symbol.[ While touching the docs, remove two references to CONFIG_MEMCG_KMEM, which hasn't been a user-visible symbol for over half a decade. ]Link: https://lkml.kernel.org/r/20220926135704.400818-5-hannes@cmpxchg.orgSigned-off-by: Johannes Weiner <hannes@cmpxchg.org>Acked-by: Shakeel Butt <shakeelb@google.com>Cc: Hugh Dickins <hughd@google.com>Cc: Michal Hocko <mhocko@suse.com>Cc: Roman Gushchin <roman.gushchin@linux.dev>Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org>

5c26993c - cgroup: Add config file to cgroup selftest suite

cgroup: Add config file to cgroup selftest suiteMost of the test suites in tools/testing/selftests contain a config filethat specifies which kernel config options need to be present in order forthe test suite to be able to run and perform meaningful validation. Thereis no config file for the tools/testing/selftests/cgroup test suite, sothis patch adds one.Signed-off-by: David Vernet <void@manifault.com>Signed-off-by: Tejun Heo <tj@kernel.org>
