ALSA: misc: Use *-y instead of *-objs in Makefile*-objs suffix is reserved rather for (user-space) host programs whileusually *-y suffix is used for kernel drivers (although *-objs worksfor that purpose for now).Let's correct the old usages of *-objs in Makefiles.Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>Reviewed-by: Andy Shevchenko <andriy.shevchenko@linux.intel.com>Reviewed-by: Jaroslav Kysela <perex@perex.cz>Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20240507135513.14919-10-tiwai@suse.de

ALSA: Remove deprecated AU1X00 AC97 driverThe AU1X00 AC97 ALSA driver was deprecated in commit 7137c6bcb7ff ("ALSA:deprecate MIPS AU1X00 AC97 driver") in favor of the newer and better ASoCdriver for the same hardware. This was almost 5 years ago and this driverhas not been in use in the mainline kernel since, it should be safe toremove it at this point.Signed-off-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de>Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>

ALSA: ALSA driver for SGI HAL2 audio deviceThis patch adds a new ALSA driver for the audio device found insidemany older SGI workstation (Indy, Indigo2). The hardware uses a SGIcustom chip, which feeds two codec chips, an IEC chip and a synth chip.Currently only one of the codecs is supported. This driver already hasthe same functionality as the HAL2 OSS driver and will replace it.Signed-off-by: Thomas Bogendoerfer <tsbogend@alpha.franken.de>Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>Signed-off-by: Jaroslav Kysela <perex@perex.cz>

Linux-2.6.12-rc2Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" gitarchive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the earlygit days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of goodinfrastructure for it.Let it rip!
