a7f7f624 - treewide: replace '---help---' in Kconfig files with 'help'

treewide: replace '---help---' in Kconfig files with 'help'Since commit 84af7a6194e4 ("checkpatch: kconfig: prefer 'help' over'---help---'"), the number of '---help---' has been graduallydecreasing, but there are still more than 2400 instances. This commit finishes the conversion. While I touched the lines,I also fixed the indentation. There are a variety of indentation styles found. a) 4 spaces + '---help---' b) 7 spaces + '---help---' c) 8 spaces + '---help---' d) 1 space + 1 tab + '---help---' e) 1 tab + '---help---' (correct indentation) f) 1 tab + 1 space + '---help---' g) 1 tab + 2 spaces + '---help---'In order to convert all of them to 1 tab + 'help', I ran thefollowing commend: $ find . -name 'Kconfig*' | xargs sed -i 's/^[[:space:]]*---help---/\thelp/'Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <masahiroy@kernel.org>

net: vlan: add 802.1ad supportAdd support for 802.1ad VLAN devices. This mainly consists of checking forETH_P_8021AD in addition to ETH_P_8021Q in a couple of places and checkoffloading capabilities based on the used protocol.Configuration is done using "ip link":# ip link add link eth0 eth0.1000 \	type vlan proto 802.1ad id 1000# ip link add link eth0.1000 eth0.1000.1000 \	type vlan proto 802.1q id 100052:54:00:12:34:56 > 92:b1:54:28:e4:8c, ethertype 802.1Q (0x8100), length 106: vlan 1000, p 0, ethertype 802.1Q, vlan 1000, p 0, ethertype IPv4, (tos 0x0, ttl 64, id 0, offset 0, flags [DF], proto ICMP (1), length 84) 20.1.0.2 > 20.1.0.1: ICMP echo request, id 3003, seq 8, length 6492:b1:54:28:e4:8c > 52:54:00:12:34:56, ethertype 802.1Q-QinQ (0x88a8), length 106: vlan 1000, p 0, ethertype 802.1Q, vlan 1000, p 0, ethertype IPv4, (tos 0x0, ttl 64, id 47944, offset 0, flags [none], proto ICMP (1), length 84) 20.1.0.1 > 20.1.0.2: ICMP echo reply, id 3003, seq 8, length 64Signed-off-by: Patrick McHardy <kaber@trash.net>Signed-off-by: David S.

vlan: Add GVRP supportAdd GVRP support for dynamically registering VLANs with switches.By default GVRP is disabled because we only support the applicant-onlyparticipant model, which means it should not be enabled on vlans thatare members of a bridge. Since there is currently no way to cleanlydetermine that, the user is responsible for enabling it.The code is pretty small and low impact, its wrapped in a configoption though because it depends on the GARP implementation andthe STP core.Signed-off-by: Patrick McHardy <kaber@trash.net>Signed-off-by: David S.

[NET]: move config options out to individual protocolsMove the protocol specific config options out to the specific protocols. With this change net/Kconfig now starts to become readable and serve as agood basis for further re-structuring.The menu structure is left almost intact, except that indention isfixed in most cases. Most visible are the INET changes where several"depends on INET" are replaced with a single ifdef INET / endif pair.Several new files were created to accomplish this change - they aresmall but serve the purpose that config options are now distributedout where they belongs.Signed-off-by: Sam Ravnborg <sam@ravnborg.org>Signed-off-by: David S.
