media: imx: Unstage the imx8mq-mipi-csi2 driverThe imx8mq-mipi-csi2 MIPI CSI-2 receiver driver is used and maintained. There is no reason to keep it in staging. The accompanying CSI bridgedriver that uses it is in drivers/media/platform/nxp as well. One TODO is to get rid of csi_state's "state" and "lock" variables.Especially make sure suspend/resume is working without them. That canvery well be worked on from the new location. Also add a MAINTAINERS section for the imx8mq-mipi-csi2 mipi receiverdriver.Signed-off-by: Martin Kepplinger <martin.kepplinger@puri.sm>Reviewed-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart@ideasonboard.com>Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hverkuil-cisco@xs4all.nl>

media: nxp: Add i.MX8 ISI driverThe Image Sensing Interface (ISI) combines image processing pipelineswith DMA engines to process and capture frames originating from avariety of sources. The inputs to the ISI go through Pixel Linkinterfaces, and their number and nature is SoC-dependent. They coverboth capture interfaces (MIPI CSI-2 RX, HDMI RX) and memory inputs.Signed-off-by: Christian Hemp <c.hemp@phytec.de>Signed-off-by: Dong Aisheng <aisheng.dong@nxp.com>Signed-off-by: Guoniu Zhou <guoniu.zhou@nxp.com>Signed-off-by: Jacopo Mondi <jacopo@jmondi.org>Signed-off-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart@ideasonboard.com>Signed-off-by: Stefan Riedmueller <s.riedmueller@phytec.de>Tested-by: Adam Ford <aford173@gmail.com> #imx8mn-beaconSigned-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@kernel.org>

media: imx: Unstage the imx7-media-csi driverThe imx7-media-csi driver, currently in staging, is ready forprime-time. The staging TODO file lists a few items specific to thatdriver, that are already addressed (the "all of the above" part) or canbe addressed later:- The frame interval monitoring support is a software mechanism to monitor the device for unexpected stalls, and should be part of the V4L2 core if desired.- Restricting the support media bus formats based on the SoC integration only aims at reducing userspace confusion by not enumerating options that are known not to be possible, it won't cause regressions if handled later.Move the description of the media bus format restriction TODO item tothe driver, drop the other TODO items, and move the driver out ofstaging.Signed-off-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart@ideasonboard.com>Reviewed-by: Paul Elder <paul.elder@ideasonboard.com>Acked-by: Rui Miguel Silva <rmfrfs@gmail.com>Tested-by: Alexander Stein <alexander.stein@ew.tq-group.com>Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@kernel.org>

media: dw100: Add i.MX8MP dw100 dewarper driverAdd a V4L2 mem-to-mem driver for the Vivante DW100 Dewarp Processor IPcore found on i.MX8MP SoC.The processor core applies a programmable geometrical transformation oninput images to correct distorsion introduced by lenses. The transformation function is exposed as a grid map with 16x16 pixelmacroblocks indexed using X, Y vertex coordinates. The dewarping map can be set from application through a dedicated v4l2control. If not set or invalid, the driver computes an identity mapprior to starting the processing engine. The driver supports scaling, cropping and pixel format conversion.Signed-off-by: Xavier Roumegue <xavier.roumegue@oss.nxp.com>Reviewed-by: Ezequiel Garcia <ezequiel@vanguardiasur.com.ar>Reviewed-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart@ideasonboard.com>Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hverkuil-cisco@xs4all.nl>Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@kernel.org>

media: Kconfig: cleanup VIDEO_DEV dependenciesmedia Kconfig has two entries associated to V4L API:VIDEO_DEV and VIDEO_V4L2.On Kernel 2.6.x, there were two V4L APIs, each one with its own flag.VIDEO_DEV were meant to:	1) enable Video4Linux and make its Kconfig options to appear;	2) it makes the Kernel build the V4L core.while VIDEO_V4L2 where used to distinguish between drivers thatimplement the newer API and drivers that implemented the former one. With time, such meaning changed, specially after the removal ofall V4L version 1 drivers. At the current implementation, VIDEO_DEV only does (1): it enablesthe media options related to V4L, that now has:	menu "Video4Linux options" visible if VIDEO_DEV	source "drivers/media/v4l2-core/Kconfig"	endmenubut it doesn't affect anymore the V4L core drivers. The rationale is that the V4L2 core has a "soft" dependencyat the I2C bus, and now requires to select a number of otherKconfig options:	config VIDEO_V4L2 tristate depends on (I2C || I2C=n) && VIDEO_DEV select RATIONAL select VIDEOBUF2_V4L2 if VIDEOBUF2_CORE default (I2C || I2C=n) && VIDEO_DEVIn the past, merging them would be tricky, but it seems that it is nowpossible to merge those symbols, in order to simplify V4L dependencies.Let's keep VIDEO_DEV, as this one is used on some make *defconfigconfigurations.Suggested-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart@ideasonboard.com>Reviewed-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart@ideasonboard.com>Reviewed-by: Jacopo Mondi <jacopo@jmondi.org>Reviewed-by: Neil Armstrong <narmstrong@baylibre.com> # for meson-vdec & meson-ge2dAcked-by: Andrzej Pietrasiewicz <andrzejtp2010@gmail.com>Acked-by: Łukasz Stelmach <l.stelmach@samsung.com>Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@kernel.org>
