LoongArch: Add writecombine support for drmLoongArch maintains cache coherency in hardware, but its WUC attribute(Weak-ordered UnCached, which is similar to WC) is out of the scope ofcache coherency machanism. This means WUC can only used for write-onlymemory regions.Cc: Daniel Vetter <daniel@ffwll.ch>Cc: dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.orgReviewed-by: WANG Xuerui <git@xen0n.name>Reviewed-by: Jiaxun Yang <jiaxun.yang@flygoat.com>Signed-off-by: Huacai Chen <chenhuacai@loongson.cn>

drm/ttm: fix compilation on ARCH=umEven if it's probably not really useful, it can get selectedby e.g. randconfig builds, and then failing to compile is anannoyance. Unfortunately, it's hard to fix in Kconfig, sinceDRM_TTM is selected by many things that don't really dependon any specific architecture, and just depend on PCI (whichis indeed now available in ARCH=um via simulation/emulation).Fix this in the code instead by just ifdef'ing the relevanttwo lines that depend on "real X86".Reported-by: Geert Uytterhoeven <geert@linux-m68k.org>Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com>Signed-off-by: Daniel Vetter <daniel.vetter@ffwll.ch>Link: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/20211220111519.a4c8c6eff702.Ie4cf4e68698f6a9f546b83379bc52c266504424f@changeid

drm/ttm: Initialize debugfs from ttm_global_init()We create a bunch of debugfs entries as a side-effect ofttm_global_init() and then never clean them up. This isn't usually aproblem because we free the whole debugfs directory on module unload. However, if the global reference count ever goes to zero and thenttm_global_init() is called again, we'll re-create those debugfs entriesand debugfs will complain in dmesg that we're creating entries thatalready exist. This patch fixes this problem by changing the lifetimeof the whole TTM debugfs directory to match that of the TTM globalstate.Signed-off-by: Jason Ekstrand <jason@jlekstrand.net>Reviewed-by: Daniel Vetter <daniel.vetter@ffwll.ch>Signed-off-by: Daniel Vetter <daniel.vetter@ffwll.ch>Link: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/20210721152358.2893314-6-jason@jlekstrand.net

drm/ttm: Add a generic TTM memcpy move for page-based iomemThe internal ttm_bo_util memcpy uses ioremap functionality, and while itprobably might be possible to use it for copying in- and out ofsglist represented io memory, using io_mem_reserve() / io_mem_free()callbacks, that would cause problems with fault().Instead, implement a method mapping page-by-page using kmap_local()semantics. As an additional benefit we then avoid the occasional globalTLB flushes of ioremap() and consuming ioremap space, elimination of acritical point of failure and with a slight change of semantics we couldalso push the memcpy out async for testing and async driver developmentpurposes.A special linear iomem iterator is introduced internally to mimic theold ioremap behaviour for code-paths that can't immediately be portedover. This adds to the code size and should be considered a temporarysolution.Looking at the code we have a lot of checks for iomap tagged pointers.Ideally we should extend the core memremap functions to also acceptuncached memory and kmap_local functionality. Then we could strip alot of code.Cc: Christian König <christian.koenig@amd.com>Signed-off-by: Thomas Hellström <thomas.hellstrom@linux.intel.com>Reviewed-by: Christian König <christian.koenig@amd.com>Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20210602083818.241793-4-thomas.hellstrom@linux.intel.com

drm: Add the TTM GPU memory manager subsystem.TTM is a GPU memory manager subsystem designed for use with GPUdevices with various memory types (On-card VRAM, AGP,PCI apertures etc.). It's essentially a helper library that assiststhe DRM driver in creating and managing persistent buffer objects.TTM manages placement of data and CPU map setup and teardown ondata movement. It can also optionally manage synchronization ofdata on a per-buffer-object level.TTM takes care to provide an always valid virtual user-space addressto a buffer object which makes user-space sub-allocation ofbig buffer objects feasible.TTM uses a fine-grained per buffer-object locking scheme, takingcare to release all relevant locks when waiting for the GPU.Although this implies some locking overhead, it's probably a bigwin for devices with multiple command submission mechanisms, sincethe lock contention will be minimal.TTM can be used with whatever user-space interface the driverchooses, including GEM. It's used by the upcoming Radeon KMS DRM driverand is also the GPU memory management core of various new experimentalDRM drivers.Signed-off-by: Thomas Hellstrom <thellstrom@vmware.com>Signed-off-by: Jerome Glisse <jglisse@redhat.com>Signed-off-by: Dave Airlie <airlied@redhat.com>
