alpha: remove DECpc AXP150 (Jensen) supportThis is one of the hackiest Alpha machines, and the only one withoutPCI support. Removing this allows cleaning up code in eise and ttydrivers in addition to the architecture code.Acked-by: Paul E.
a7f7f624 - treewide: replace '---help---' in Kconfig files with 'help'

treewide: replace '---help---' in Kconfig files with 'help'Since commit 84af7a6194e4 ("checkpatch: kconfig: prefer 'help' over'---help---'"), the number of '---help---' has been graduallydecreasing, but there are still more than 2400 instances. This commit finishes the conversion. While I touched the lines,I also fixed the indentation. There are a variety of indentation styles found. a) 4 spaces + '---help---' b) 7 spaces + '---help---' c) 8 spaces + '---help---' d) 1 space + 1 tab + '---help---' e) 1 tab + '---help---' (correct indentation) f) 1 tab + 1 space + '---help---' g) 1 tab + 2 spaces + '---help---'In order to convert all of them to 1 tab + 'help', I ran thefollowing commend: $ find . -name 'Kconfig*' | xargs sed -i 's/^[[:space:]]*---help---/\thelp/'Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <masahiroy@kernel.org>

x86: allow more than 8 cpus to be used on 32-bitX86_PC is the only remaining 'sub' architecture, so we dont needit anymore. This also cleans up a few spurious references to X86_PC in thedriver space - those certainly should be X86.Signed-off-by: Yinghai Lu <yinghai@kernel.org>Signed-off-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu>

Linux-2.6.12-rc2Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" gitarchive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the earlygit days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of goodinfrastructure for it.Let it rip!
