Bluetooth: btbcm: fix missing of_node_put() in btbcm_get_board_name()of_find_node_by_path() returns a pointer to a device_node with itsrefcount incremented, and a call to of_node_put() is required todecrement the refcount again and avoid leaking the resource. If 'of_property_read_string_index(root, "compatible", 0, &tmp)' fails, the function returns without calling of_node_put(root) before doing so.The automatic cleanup attribute can be used by means of the __free()macro to automatically call of_node_put() when the variable goes out ofscope, fixing the issue and also accounting for new error paths.Fixes: 63fac3343b99 ("Bluetooth: btbcm: Support per-board firmware variants")Signed-off-by: Javier Carrasco <javier.carrasco.cruz@gmail.com>Signed-off-by: Luiz Augusto von Dentz <luiz.von.dentz@intel.com>

Bluetooth: hci_bcm: Fall back to getting bdaddr from EFI if not setOn some devices the BCM Bluetooth adapter does not have a valid bdaddr set.btbcm.c currently sets HCI_QUIRK_INVALID_BDADDR to indicate when this isthe case. But this requires users to manual setup a btaddr, by doing e.g.:btmgmt -i hci0 public-addr 'B0:F1:EC:82:1D:B3'Which means that Bluetooth will not work out of the box on such devices. To avoid this (where possible) hci_bcm sets: HCI_QUIRK_USE_BDADDR_PROPERTYwhich tries to get the bdaddr from devicetree. But this only works on devicetree platforms. On UEFI based platformsthere is a special Broadcom UEFI variable which when present containsthe devices bdaddr, just like how there is another UEFI variable whichcontains wifi nvram contents including the wifi MAC address.Add support for getting the bdaddr from this Broadcom UEFI variable,so that Bluetooth will work OOTB for users on devices where thisUEFI variable is present. This fixes Bluetooth not working on for example Asus T100HA 2-in-1s.Signed-off-by: Hans de Goede <hdegoede@redhat.com>Signed-off-by: Luiz Augusto von Dentz <luiz.von.dentz@intel.com>

Bluetooth: btbcm: Support per-board firmware variantsThere are provedly different firmware variants for the differentphones using some of these chips. These were extracted from a fewSamsung phones:37446 BCM4334B0.samsung,codina-tmo.hcd37366 BCM4334B0.samsung,golden.hcd37403 BCM4334B0.samsung,kyle.hcd37366 BCM4334B0.samsung,skomer.hcdThis patch supports the above naming schedule with inserting[.board_name] between the firmware name and ".hcd". This schemeis the same as used by the companion BRCM wireless chipsas can be seen indrivers/net/wireless/broadcom/brcm80211/brcmfmac/firmware.cor just by looking at the firmwares in linux-firmware/brcm.Currently we only support board variants using the devicetree compatible string as board type, but other schemes arepossible. This makes it possible to successfully load a few uniquefirmware variants for some Samsung phones.Cc: phone-devel@vger.kernel.orgCc: Markuss Broks <markuss.broks@gmail.com>Cc: Stephan Gerhold <stephan@gerhold.net>Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>

This makes the code use just"BCM" as prefix for the filename to pass to request-firmware, making itharder for users to figure out which firmware they need. This especiallyis problematic with the UART attached BCM4324B5 where this leads to thefilename being just "BCM.hcd".Add the 2 missing devices to subver tables. This has been tested on:1. A Dell XPS15 9550 where this makes btbcm.c try to load"BCM20703A1-0a5c-6410.hcd" before it tries to load "BCM-0a5c-6410.hcd".2.
Bluetooth: btbcm: Try multiple Patch filenames when loading the Patch firmwareCurrently the bcm_uart_subver_ and bcm_usb_subver_table-s lack entriesfor various newer chipsets. This makes the code use just "BCM" as prefixfor the filename to pass to request-firmware, making it harder for usersto figure out which firmware they need. This especially a problem withUART attached devices where this leads to the filename being "BCM.hcd".If we add new entries to the subver-tables now, then this will changewhat firmware file the kernel looks for, e.g. currently linux-firmwarecontains a brcm/BCM-0bb4-0306.hcd file. If we add the info for theBCM20703A1 to the subver table, then this will change tobrcm/BCM20703A1-0bb4-0306.hcd. This will cause the file to no longerget loaded breaking Bluetooth for existing users, going against theno regressions policy. To avoid this regression make the btbcm code try multiple filenames, first try the fullname, e.g. BCM20703A1-0bb4-0306.hcd and if that isnot found, then fallback to the name with just BCM as prefix. This commit also adds an info message which filename was used, this makes the output look like this for example:[ 57.387867] Bluetooth: hci0: BCM20703A1[ 57.387870] Bluetooth: hci0: BCM20703A1 (001.001.005) build 0000[ 57.389438] Bluetooth: hci0: BCM20703A1 'brcm/BCM20703A1-0a5c-6410.hcd' Patch[ 58.681769] Bluetooth: hci0: BCM20703A1 Generic USB 20Mhz fcbga_BU[ 58.681772] Bluetooth: hci0: BCM20703A1 (001.001.005) build 0481Signed-off-by: Hans de Goede <hdegoede@redhat.com>Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>

Bluetooth: btbcm: Bail sooner from btbcm_initialize() when not loading fwIf we have already loaded the firmware/patchram and btbcm_initialize()is called to re-init the HCI after this then there is no need to getthe USB device-ids and build a firmware-filename out of these.Signed-off-by: Hans de Goede <hdegoede@redhat.com>Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
