powerpc: Define and use PPC64_ELF_ABI_v2/v1We're approaching 20 locations where we need to check for ELF ABI v2.That's fine, except the logic is a bit awkward, because we have to checkthat _CALL_ELF is defined and then what its value is.So check it once in asm/types.h and define PPC64_ELF_ABI_v2 when ELF ABIv2 is detected. We also have a few places where what we're really trying to check isthat we are using the 64-bit v1 ABI, ie. function descriptors. So alsoadd a #define for that, which simplifies several checks.Signed-off-by: Naveen N. Rao <naveen.n.rao@linux.vnet.ibm.com>Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>

powerpc: Add __SANE_USERSPACE_TYPES__ to asm/types.h for LL64PPC64 uses long long for u64 in the kernel, but powerpc's asm/types.hprevents 64-bit userland from seeing this definition, instead defaultingto u64 == long in userspace. Some user programs (e.g. kvmtool) may actuallywant LL64, so this patch adds a check for __SANE_USERSPACE_TYPES__ so that,if defined, int-ll64.h is included instead.Signed-off-by: Matt Evans <matt@ozlabs.org>Acked-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu>Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org>

asm-generic: introduce asm/bitsperlong.hThis provides a reliable way for asm-generic/types.h and otherfiles to find out if it is running on a 32 or 64 bit platform. We cannot use CONFIG_64BIT for this in headers that are includedfrom user space because CONFIG symbols are not available there. We also cannot do it inside of asm/types.h because some headersneed the word size but cannot include types.h.The solution is to introduce a new header <asm/bitsperlong.h>that defines both __BITS_PER_LONG for user space andBITS_PER_LONG for usage in the kernel. The asm-genericversion falls back to 32 bit unless the architecture overridesit, which I did for all 64 bit platforms.Signed-off-by: Remis Lima Baima <remis.developer@googlemail.com>Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
