cxl: Remove driverRemove the cxl driver that provides support for the IBM CoherentAccelerator Processor Interface. Revert or clean up associated code inarch/powerpc that is no longer necessary.cxl has received minimal maintenance for several years, and is notsupported on the Power10 processor. We aren't aware of any users who arelikely to be using recent kernels. Thanks to Mikey Neuling, Ian Munsie, Daniel Axtens, Frederic Barrat,Christophe Lombard, Philippe Bergheaud, Vaibhav Jain and AlastairD'Silva for their work on this driver over the years.Signed-off-by: Andrew Donnellan <ajd@linux.ibm.com>Acked-by: Frederic Barrat <fbarrat@linux.ibm.com>Acked-by: Madhavan Srinivasan <maddy@linux.ibm.com>Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>Link: https://patch.msgid.link/20250219070007.177725-2-ajd@linux.ibm.com

powerpc/powernv/sriov: Move SR-IOV into a separate filepci-ioda.c is getting a bit unwieldly due to the amount of stuff jammed inthere. The SR-IOV support can be extracted easily enough and is mostlystandalone, so move it into a separate file. This patch also moves the PowerNV SR-IOV specific fields from pci_dn andmoves them into a platform specific structure. I'm not sure how they endedup in there in the first place, but leaking platform specifics into commoncode has proven to be a terrible idea so far so lets stop doing that.Signed-off-by: Oliver O'Halloran <oohall@gmail.com>Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20200722065715.1432738-5-oohall@gmail.com

powerpc: use the generic dma_ops_bypass modeUse the DMA API bypass mechanism for direct window mappings. This usescommon code and speed up the direct mapping case by avoiding indirectcalls just when not using dma ops at all. It also fixes a problem wherethe sync_* methods were using the bypass check for DMA allocations, butthose are part of the streaming ops.Note that this patch loses the DMA_ATTR_WEAK_ORDERING override, whichhas never been well defined, as is only used by a few drivers, whichIIRC never showed up in the typical Cell blade setups that are affectedby the ordering workaround.Fixes: efd176a04bef ("powerpc/pseries/dma: Allow SWIOTLB")Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de>Tested-by: Alexey Kardashevskiy <aik@ozlabs.ru>Reviewed-by: Alexey Kardashevskiy <aik@ozlabs.ru>

powerpc/pci: Refactor pci_dnCurrently, the PCI config accessors are implemented based on device node.Unfortunately, SRIOV VFs won't have the corresponding device nodes. pci_dnwill be used in replacement with device node for SRIOV VFs. So we have touse pci_dn in PCI config accessors. The patch refactors pci_dn in following aspects to make it ready to be usedin PCI config accessors as we do in subsequent patch: * pci_dn is organized as a hierarchy tree. PCI device's pci_dn is put to the child list of pci_dn of its upstream bridge or PHB. VF's pci_dn will be put to the child list of pci_dn of PF's bridge. * For one particular PCI device (VF or not), its pci_dn can be found from pdev->dev.archdata.pci_data, PCI_DN(devnode), or parent's list. The fast path (fetching pci_dn through PCI device instance) is populated during early fixup time.[bhelgaas: changelog]Signed-off-by: Gavin Shan <gwshan@linux.vnet.ibm.com>Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org>

powerpc: Add iommu domain pointer to device archdataAdd an iommu domain pointer to device (powerpc) archdata. Devicesare attached to iommu domains and this pointer provides a mechanismto correlate between a device and the associated iommu domain. Thisfield is set when a device is attached to a domain.Signed-off-by: Varun Sethi <Varun.Sethi@freescale.com>Acked-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>Signed-off-by: Joerg Roedel <joro@8bytes.org>

powerpc: IOMMU fault injectionAdd the ability to inject IOMMU faults. We enable this per devicevia a fail_iommu sysfs property, similar to fault injection on othersubsystems. An example:...0003:01:00.1 Ethernet controller: Emulex Corporation OneConnect 10Gb NIC (be3) (rev 02)To inject one error to this device:echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/devices/0003:01:00.1/fail_iommuecho 1 > /sys/kernel/debug/fail_iommu/probabilityecho 1 > /sys/kernel/debug/fail_iommu/timesAs feared, the first failure injected on the be3 results in anunrecoverable error, taking down both functions of the cardpermanently:be2net 0003:01:00.1: Unrecoverable error in the cardSigned-off-by: Anton Blanchard <anton@samba.org>Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org>

eb740b5f - powerpc/eeh: Introduce EEH device

powerpc/eeh: Introduce EEH deviceOriginal EEH implementation depends on struct pci_dn heavily. However,EEH shouldn't depend on that actually because EEH needn't share muchinformation with other PCI components. That's to say, EEH should haveworked independently. The patch introduces struct eeh_dev so that EEH core components needn'tbe working based on struct pci_dn in future. Also, struct pci_dn, structeeh_dev instances are created in dynamic fasion and the binding with EEHdevice, OF node, PCI device is implemented as well. The EEH devices are created after PHBs are detected and initialized, butPCI emunation hasn't started yet. Apart from that, PHB might be createddynamically through DLPAR component and the EEH devices should be creatdas well. Another case might be OF node is created dynamically by DR(Dynamic Reconfiguration), which has been defined by PAPR. For those OFnodes created by DR, EEH devices should be also created accordingly. Thebinding between EEH device and OF node is done while the EEH device isinitially created. The binding between EEH device and PCI device should be done after PCIemunation is done. Besides, PCI hotplug also needs the binding so thatthe EEH devices could be traced from the newly coming PCI buses or PCIdevices.Signed-off-by: Gavin Shan <shangw@linux.vnet.ibm.com>Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org>

powerpc: Use the newly added get_required_mask dma_map_ops hookNow that the generic code has dma_map_ops set, instead of having amessy ifdef & if block in the base dma_get_required_mask hook pushthe computation into the dma ops.If the ops fails to set the get_required_mask hook default to thewidth of dma_addr_t.This also corrects ibmbus ibmebus_dma_supported to require a 64bit mask. I doubt anything is checking or setting the dma mask onthat bus.Signed-off-by: Milton Miller <miltonm@bga.com>Signed-off-by: Nishanth Aravamudan <nacc@us.ibm.com>Cc: linuxppc-dev@lists.ozlabs.orgCc: linux-kernel@vger.kernel.orgCc: benh@kernel.crashing.orgSigned-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org>

arch/powerpc: Move dma_mask from of_device into pdev_archdataBy moving dma_mask into pdev_archdata, and adding archdata tostruct of_device, it makes it possible to substitute of_devicewith struct platform_device, which is a stepping stone toremoving the of_platform bus entirely.Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca>
