        <title>06c03cac - [ARM] 3117/1: nwfpe kernel memory info leak</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/linux-6.15/arch/arm/nwfpe/softfloat-specialize#06c03cac</link>
        <description>[ARM] 3117/1: nwfpe kernel memory info leakPatch from Lennert BuytenhekThe routine that nwfpe uses for converting floats/doubles toextended precision fails to zero two bytes of kernel stack.  Thisis not immediately obvious, as the floatx80 structure has 16 bitsof implicit padding (by design.)  These two bytes are copied touserspace when an stfe is emulated, causing a possible info leak.Make the padding explicit and zero it out in the relevant places.Signed-off-by: Lennert Buytenhek &lt;buytenh@wantstofly.org&gt;Signed-off-by: Russell King &lt;rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk&gt;

        <description>Linux-2.6.12-rc2Initial git repository build. I&apos;m not bothering with the full history,even though we have it. We can create a separate &quot;historical&quot; gitarchive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it&apos;s about3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the earlygit days unnecessarily complicated, when we don&apos;t have a lot of goodinfrastructure for it.Let it rip!
