b0bade51 - net: phy: Expose phydev::dev_flags through sysfs

net: phy: Expose phydev::dev_flags through sysfsphydev::dev_flags contains a bitmask of configuration bits requested bythe consumer of a PHY device (Ethernet MAC or switch) towards the PHYdriver. Since these flags are often used for requesting LED or othertype of configuration being able to quickly audit them withoutinstrumenting the kernel is useful.Signed-off-by: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com>Signed-off-by: David S.
docs: ABI: cleanup several ABI documentsThere are some ABI documents that, while they don't generateany warnings, they have issues when parsed by get_abi.pl scripton its output result.Address them, in order to provide a clean output.Reviewed-by: Tom Rix <trix@redhat.com> # for fpga-managerReviewed-By: Kajol Jain<kjain@linux.ibm.com> # for sysfs-bus-event_source-devices-hv_gpci and sysfs-bus-event_source-devices-hv_24x7Acked-by: Jonathan Cameron <Jonathan.Cameron@huawei.com> #for IIOAcked-by: Oded Gabbay <oded.gabbay@gmail.com> # for HabanalabsAcked-by: Vaibhav Jain <vaibhav@linux.ibm.com> # for sysfs-bus-papr-pmemAcked-by: Cezary Rojewski <cezary.rojewski@intel.com> # for catptAcked-by: Suzuki K Poulose <suzuki.poulose@arm.com>Acked-by: Ilya Dryomov <idryomov@gmail.com> # for rbdAcked-by: Jonathan Corbet <corbet@lwn.net>Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab+huawei@kernel.org>Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/5bc78e5b68ed1e9e39135173857cb2e753be868f.1604042072.git.mchehab+huawei@kernel.orgSigned-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>

net: phy: Add phy_standalone sysfs entryExport a phy_standalone device attribute that is meant to give theindication that this PHY lacks an attached_dev and its correspondingsysfs link. The attribute will be created only when thephy_attach_direct() function will be called with a NULL net_device.Signed-off-by: Ioana Ciornei <ioana.ciornei@nxp.com>Reviewed-by: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com>Signed-off-by: David S.
Documentation: net-sysfs: Remove duplicate PHY device documentationBoth sysfs-bus-mdio and sysfs-class-net-phydev contain the sameduplication information. There is not currently any MDIO bus specificattribute, but there are PHY device (struct phy_device) specificattributes. Use the more precise description from sysfs-bus-mdio andcarry that over to sysfs-class-net-phydev.Fixes: 86f22d04dfb5 ("net: sysfs: Document PHY device sysfs attributes")Signed-off-by: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com>Reviewed-by: Andrew Lunn <andrew@lunn.ch>Signed-off-by: David S.

net: phy: add XAUI and 10GBASE-KR PHY connection typesXAUI allows XGMII to reach an extended distance by using a XGXS layer ateach end of the MAC to PHY link, operating over four Serdes lanes.10GBASE-KR is a single lane Serdes backplane ethernet connection methodwith autonegotiation on the link. Some PHYs use this to connect to theethernet interface at 10G speeds, switching to other connection typeswhen utilising slower speeds.10GBASE-KR is also used for XFI and SFI to connect to XFP and SFP fibermodules.Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@armlinux.org.uk>Reviewed-by: Andrew Lunn <andrew@lunn.ch>Reviewed-by: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com>Signed-off-by: David S.
