<description>COPYING: state that all contributions really are covered by this fileExplicitly state that all contributions to the kernel source treereally are covered under this COPYING file in case someone thoughtotherwise. Lawyers love to be pedantic, even more so than softwareengineers at times, and this sentence makes them sleep easier.Reviewed-by: Thomas Gleixner &lt;tglx@linutronix.de&gt;Acked-by: Gustavo A. R. <title>1da177e4 - Linux-2.6.12-rc2</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/linux-6.15/COPYING#1da177e4</link>
<description>Linux-2.6.12-rc2Initial git repository build. I&apos;m not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate &quot;historical&quot; gitarchive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it&apos;s about3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the earlygit days unnecessarily complicated, when we don&apos;t have a lot of goodinfrastructure for it.Let it rip!
