<title>c9f30aaa - When allocating memory, zero out them if we don&apos;t intend to overwrite them</title>
        <link>http://172.16.0.5:8080/history/freebsd-14.2/lib/libc/db/README#c9f30aaa</link>
<description>When allocating memory, zero out them if we don&apos;t intend to overwrite themall; before freeing memory, zero out them before we release it as freeheap. This will eliminate some potential information leak issue. While there, remove the PURIFY option. There is a slight difference betweenthe new behavior and the old -DPURIFY behavior, with the latter initializesmemory with 0xff&apos;s. The difference between old and new approach does notgenerate observable difference.Obtained from:	OpenBSD (partly).
