As such,change the following method names, and add them to a new link infostructure: read_i2c_combined => read_link read_i2c_combined_unlocked => read_link_unlocked write_i2c_combined => write_link write_i2c_combined_unlocked => write_link_unlockedThis will allow X550EM_a to override these methods for MDIO accesswhile X550EM_x provides methods to use I2C combined access.Initially the structure is just method pointers and a busaddress.Two functions involved in combined I2C accesses were moved fromixgbe_phy.c to ixgbe_x550.c. ixgbe/base: optimize link up timeThis patch adds max_link_up_time parameter to mac structure.This parameter is used to control maximum link polling time inixgbe_check_mac_link functions. It is required to prevent long waittime on x550 PHY that have no external link.Since x550 is handled by software, we have to reset internal (PHY toPHY) link when external link changes, and after reset, we have to wait forthis link to be established. As a result of not having interrupts, we haveto poll for link state, and we know that this link comes up much fasterthan default 9 seconds.
